About the Cell
The SC/ST Cell at our college is formed to ensure, protect and promote the interest of persons belonging to SC/ST Category.
Functions
- To inform and assist students to avail various scholarship provided by the Government.
- To sensitize the university community towards specific needs of the persons belonging to SC/ST category.
- To formulate and execute policies for the capability development of persons belonging to SC/ST category, like basic computer skills and remedial language classes.
- To make available various laws and regulations related to welfare scheme and mechanism for persons belonging to SC/ST category.
- The cell addresses the issues and complaints involving, discrimination and unequal opportunities at campus by persons belonging to SC/ST categories.
