B.H.M. (Bachelors of Hotel Management) is a 4 year full time regular degree course consisting of 8 semesters. The curriculum is designed by the Mangalore University, Mangalore, Karnataka, to which the college is affiliated. The college is approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD-New Delhi, recognized by the Government of Karnataka and NAAC accredited. The course equips the students with all the required skills, knowledge and attitude to efficiently discharge managerial responsibilities in the hotel and tourism sector. The programme provides a platform to the students to acquire in-depth knowledge about the various operational areas of Food Production, Food and Beverage Service, Front Office, Room Division Management etc. It also provides managerial inputs in Hotel Accountancy, Human Resource Management, Facility Management, Financial Management, Marketing management, and Tourism Planning. The course includes compulsory industrial training and research study based on area of specialization.

Eligibility for Admission

Admission is open to all qualified students.
The College adheres to a policy of non-discrimination in admitting students.
Any candidate seeking admission to the first year BHM degree course must have passed the Pre-University (Class XII or 10+2) Examination or its equivalent with an aggregate of 50% marks. A minimum of 45% is sufficient for SC/ST students.
The offer for admission is subject to the verification of original certificates/documents followed by an entrance test at the time of admission.

Awards

Successful candidates will be awarded with the 04(FOUR) years Bachelor of Hotel Management(BHM) from Mangalore University in the preceding Convocation.
