Infrastructure & Facilities
The art of Professional teaching has changed, considering this, we at Moti Mahal College of Hotel Management have developed our infrastructure in accordance with the hospitality industry norms. We follow the norms prescribed by the AICTE, New Delhi and Mangalore University. The college has a state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities specifically designed to hone the academic and practical skills of the students.
All training labs at our college are equipped with the best of equipment, furniture and fixtures to train our valuable students for the flourishing career in the hospitality industry. The labs are well equipped and designed to provide good and advanced training to students, making them efficient in the industry.
This is further supported by our hotel that presents a unique opportunity for students to practice what they have learned in the classrooms.
ICT enabled classrooms
The classrooms are well equipped with all modern equipment and fixtures to Achieve Excellence. They are fully air-conditioned and have all Architectural Education necessary teaching aids like LCD and Internet facility with LAN supported system for practical teaching. The classrooms are commodious and are so designed to provide comfortable ambience for effective teaching and learning.
Training Front Office Lab
The front office is the first and the last point of contact for any guest. Proper courtesy and etiquettes are mandatory for front-office executives, along with having knowledge of various languages spoken and custom throughout the world. All operational aspects of Front Office like Room Reservation, Registration, Guest Relations, Telephones, Cashiering, Guest Accounting, Revenue Management etc. are taught to the students. The college has installed softwares similar to the one used in the industry.
Training Restaurant
Restaurants are the key part of the hotel industry. College has developed the state of the art food and beverage lab(Training Restaurant), which is well equipped with all the modern amenities and equipment. We at our college particularly impart practical knowledge of food and beverage service and bar operations. The restaurant has a total capacity of 48 covers. A Training Pantry and a separate Dining Hall are attached to it.
Training Accommodation Operation Lab/ Housekeeping lab with Laundry facility/ (Model Guest Room)
Accommodation operations are one of the major areas in a hotel as it is the housing & lodging that one looks for when they are away from home. Our housekeeping lab has a detailed guest room that helps a student to practice in all necessary aspects. There are two sections in the housekeeping lab. One is for learning bed making and the other one is for room-cleaning procedures, area cleaning activities, theme decorations, stain removal demonstrations, laundry etc.
Mock Bar
Mock Bar Set-up attached with various bar equipment where students practice the preparation and service of mocktails and cocktails.
Quantity Training Kitchen
Quantity Training Kitchen with all necessary equipment is used for 3rd Year Students which provides practical knowledge about quantity food production and bulk cooking.
Advanced Training Kitchen
Advanced Training Kitchen is a platform for the students with the basic culinary knowledge where they are trained in international cuisines. The Advance Training Kitchen is equipped with modern kitchen equipment.
Bakery
Bakery lab consists of highly sophisticated equipment installed to provide the training in bakery and confectionery. The practical classes are handled by an experienced bakery chef. Students are trained to prepare muffins, cakes, pastries, mousse, soufflé, icings, chocolates, bread, croissants, cookies, biscuits etc.
Locker Rooms(separate For Boys And Girls)
College has provided separate locker room facilities for Boys and Girls.
Computer Lab
We have a well-equipped computer lab with LAN network/high-speed internet and latest systems for all students. Our Computer Lab is equipped with the latest hospitality operational software; IDS and e-teaching facilities.
Language Lab
Language lab is the place where our students are trained to develop interactive and group communication skills in an effective manner. The students are given training in communication, confidence building, career development, report writing, resume writing, etc
Counseling Cell
The counseling cell at our college provides the resources and the personnel needed to conduct academic advising and counseling. Counselors will make every effort to give effective guidance to students regarding academic matters.
Group Insurance Facility
All the students of our college are covered under group insurance scheme. By this we express our concern for the safety & welfare of our students.
First Aid Facility
Our college has a first aid facility to students and staff members to provide immediate medical attention.
Hostel for Boys and Girls
Separate hostels for men and women students are provided under the care of a resident warden. The hostel is located near to our college & close to shopping, travel agencies etc. Hostels have the comfortable lodging and boarding facility. The allocation of seats is on the first come-first serve basis. Essential Furniture is provided for each Individual. Students can arrange accommodation at their own level also.
Placement Cell
We have a well established placement cell, which conducts the on-campus & off-campus interviews of the leading national & international hotel groups.
Transportation Facility
Pick & drop bus facility is provided by the institute to those staying in the college hostel.
