CLUBS

We have clubs and learning opportunities to make the student life memorable at our college. The students are grouped under each club in order to organize college activities as well as to train them to acquire the practical experience. Each club is monitored by a senior faculty member of each department. The members of each club are trained by the senior faculty members to prepare them conducting the events successfully. The students can join in any of the clubs according to their taste in the particular area.  Open to all students, the clubs plan events and activities throughout the year.  Clubs play a vital role in supporting and enhancing every aspect of experience and exposure needed by student. Club activities include various events like Food Festival, Fresher’s Day programme, Cultural programmes, Festivals, Competitions, Traditional Day events, Study tour, Blood donation camp, Swach Bharath Programmes, Farewell ceremony, etc; Through these activities, students may participate in and contribute to the life and interests of the college and the community.

Le Club Aromatum

Le Club Aromatum organizes the events related to Food & Beverage Production, Carving, Bakery & Confectionery. The activities under this club help the students to acquire the skills and knowledge required in the field of culinary science and makes them more responsible towards their work. Club activities provide hands on cooking experience while learning about kitchen safety and sanitation, bulk food preparation, food presentation etc; The club is run by a group of students who wish to find their career in the Food Production Department. The club is guided by a senior faculty of Food Production department.

Iris Club

Iris Club handles the ‘Fine Arts’ activities. Students interested in fine arts are identified as soon as they enter to the college. Students are encouraged to take part in competitions held outside the campus. Intra & Inter-college competitions are held in campus. Iris club provides our students a boarder view of art and many forms like Painting, Poster Designing, Clay Modeling, Collage, Cartooning, Pencil Drawing etc. The club is run by a group of students who are guided by a senior faculty. Sports Club

Sports Club organizes various sports activities in the college. The Sports club is committed to provide a healthy sporting habit among the students. Sporting facilities include Cricket, Hockey, Volleyball, Badminton, Tennis and Table Tennis. Sports club organizes various intra and inter-college competitions and tournaments in all games and sports activities every year. These include Athletics Track and Field events such as races, long/high jumps, short-put, javelin throw, discus throw etc. and numerous football, volley-ball, cricket matches and chess and carom contests. Those who excel in sports activities are given various awards, prizes, medals, and certificates.
